I'm not prepared to endorse it, but maybe J.G. Eccarius's The Last Days of Christ the Vampire was published a little before its time.

Or, for that matter, _The Texas-Israeli War: 1999_ (pub'd in 1978). Strange as it may sound, I actually am prepared to endorse this one, at least a little. It was significantly better than the title might lead you to expect.
