Nice shots of a 'Pizza Rustica' with a glimpse at all the wonderful toppings you can get on AMERICAblog.com:
www.americablog.com/2010/03/food-in-bergamo-italy.html
The popular 'deep dish' pizza in Chicago which is routinely scorned by foodie snobs as not being real pizza actually has its antecedents in the thick crusted pizza with all those toppings (my favorite used to be tuna with salad) that you could get all over Italy -- though the best places would be in Roma and Napoli.
Of course the foodie snobs wouldn't know this 'cause their Italian experience is confined to Manhattan and Dupont Circle.

Between my toes, your
Meat, your cars, your foolish dreams.
I feel no remorse.

But I'm really a clumsy,
Lovable reptile.

I get it!!! This is funny Ezra.
The Haiku is what Obama and Pelosi say, and Godzilla represents the montrous healthcare legislation with at $2.3 Trillion Dollars in Cost will most certainly destroy everything that has made USA an exceptional country over the past 200+ years!

"The world needs more Godzilla haikus"
More? Haiku is the art of the minimal.
And like many of us, FastEddie--especially--would do well to remember that.

this beautiful child
said i can color softly.
i'm no broken thing.
the desire to create and uplift can sometimes be rescued even in hopeless places with care and love.
little boy was given crayons, and wanted to smash off the tops
but his picture was praised, and hung up and he was given great encouragement, and crayons of his own, that meant something to him.
and then, he wanted to color softly, instead of destroy his picture, and all of those pictures around him.
he was given flower seeds, and they meant nothing.
but after planting them, and watering them, the shoots are coming up. and now he protects them and cares for them.
the impulse to create and uplift can only prevail with love.
love is still the greatest teacher.
even with godzilla-nature.
