Dan Meyer is my hero. His blog is a gold mine of ideas and conversations about making math interesting for kids who have already disqualified themselves as not being good enough to do math. I wish we could have him as our Secretary of Education instead of Arne Duncan. At least he knows and has taught something -- very well.
