More bling for Post food section
Congratulations are in order to Joe Yonan, Bonnie Benwick, Jane Black and Leigh Lambert. They're the team behind The Washington Post's food section, and last night, they won the James Beard award for best food section in the country. So congrats, guys!
Now, as some of you know, I was writing a column for the food section for much of 2009, so I'd like to take partial credit for this award. But given that the Post team also won the Beard award for 2008, it's pretty clear that they run an excellent section and I was incidental. Which is sort of a long way of saying that if you're not keeping up with their work, you should be.

Ezra,
You certainly move around a lot in different sections of the newspaper. If you continue to write with the partisan attitude that you have aquired recently, I expect that your next assignment will be the obituaries.
