Which High School Has Fairfax County's Best Football Team?

The Washington Post today published a special section previewing the upcoming season of high school football in the metro area. Of interest to Fairfax County fans may be the cover story on the depth of the local talent pool which includes a profile of Westfield High School senior running back Evan Royster who is poised for college stardom.

Other county players that feature prominently in the section include Centreville senior defensive lineman Colin Miller who, off the field, plays bass guitar in a rock band, Langely senior wide receiver and defensive back Monty Ashton-Lewis, a budding actor who recently had a small role in the newly released Sidney Pollack film, "The Interpreter," and Lake Braddock junior lineman Blair Haggett, who has been winning national and international whistling championships since he was eight years old.
