McLean Community Center To Hold Budget Work Session Tonight

Residents of the Dranesville Small Tax District 1,which includes the McLean area, are invited to the McLean Community Center's work session on its fiscal 2007 budget at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
The center is supported by a special real estate tax paid by residents of the district. The current tax rate is 2.8 cents for each $100 of assessed value. Residents who have suggestions, comments or concerns will have an opportunity to talk about them at the session.

Those Residents who call the center to say they plan announce their intention to attend the session will receive a budget package when they arrive. A public hearing on the fiscal 2007 budget, along with the regular monthly meeting of the governing board, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28. Residents who want to speak at that this meeting or tonight's meeting should call 703-790-0123.
