Speech Tomorrow About Rebuilding Iraq's Schools

Robert Gordon, an international education consultant and engineer, is scheduled to talk to Reston area residents at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 about the challenges he faced heading up a project to rebuild Iraqi schools following the war.

Gordon was sent to Iraq in 2003 by Creative Associates International, a company where Gordon was a senior executive, to supervise the rebuilding of the country's school infrastructure. He currently is the owner and president of R. Gordon Associates of Northwest Washington.

The program is part of the Reston Presents series sponsored by the Reston Community Center and the Reston Association.

The talk will be held at the Jo Ann Rose Gallery at the Reston Community Center at Lake Anne, 1609 Washington Plaza.
