Kaine Considering Town Meeting in Fairfax
Board Chairman Gerald E. Connolly (D) told the supervisors at today's meeting that he has spoke to Gov.-elect Kaine's office about scheduling a town meeting in Fairfax County before he takes office.
Kaine has been holding a series of town meetings across the state, including Nov. 29 in Manassas. Supervisor Michael Frey (R-Sully) asked the supervisors to send a letter to Kaine asking him to add Fairfax to his itinery. Connolly asked him to hold off because he has spoken to Kaine's office about a Fairfax meeting.
