Revisions To Lee District Park Under Consideration
The county Park Authority has scheduled a hearing Nov. 15 in
the Alexandria area on a proposal to revise the master plan for Lee
District Park.
The proposed revisions include adding
a family recreation area, lighting three existing fields, redesigning
the field space and increasing parking.
The 138-acre
park is at 6601 Telegraph Rd. The plan can be reviewed at the Park
Authority office, 12055 Government Center Pkwy., Suite 421, or at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks .
Comments on the plan will be accepted for 30 days after the hearing. The comment period will end at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 15.
The
Nov. 15 hearing will be at 7 p.m. at Mark Twain Middle School, 4700
