Hunter Mill Task Force Meetings Scheduled For Next Two Wednesdays

The following news brief was in today's Fairfax Extra:

The Hunter Mill Road task force is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Dec. 14 in Reston to discuss the planning process and present tabulations of current development potential in the surrounding area.

The final community vision report was released Nov. 23 by CirclePoint/HNTB, the private contractor leading the public involvement and feedback part of the effort. Two developers are proposing to build residential communities in the Hunter Mill Road area, and county planners want residents to help decide the area's future.

The Hunter Mill Road Area Special Study Task Force was established by the Board of Supervisors to consider options for approximately 300 acres east and west of Hunter Mill Road adjacent to the Dulles Access and Toll Road.

Wednesday's meeting will be at Lake Anne Elementary School, 11510 North Shore Dr. The Dec. 14 meeting will be at South Lakes High School, 11400 South Lakes Dr.
