Man Gets Life Sentence For Murder of Pregnant Girlfriend

Darius T. Hicks, 32 was sentenced to life in prison yesterday for the murder of his pregnant girlfriend, Shawndre N. Fulton. Fulton's body was discovered Thanksgiving Day of last year in Mount Vernon Woods Park. Hicks conviction is the first in Fairfax that includes prison time for the killing of a fetus.
