Community Dialogue Jan. 17 on the Future of Tysons Corner

The following was released by the Providence District Council today:

Providence District Council invites all interested area communities to
participate in a Community Dialogue on the Future of Tysons Corner on
Tuesday, Jan. 17, 7:30-9:00pm at the Dunn Loring Center, located at
the northwest corner of Gallows and Idylwood Rds.

The Perspectives Group
has been hired by the County to coordinate community input on the potential
changes in the Tysons comprehensive plan. They will give a short
presentation on the Tyson's Task Force activities, followed by small and
larger groups discussions of values and concerns. This is one of a few
opportunities the general public will have to provide input into the
recommended density changes to Tysons. The results of all dialogues will be
captured and included in a final report for the Tysons Task Force. For more
information, please contact Becky Cate, 703-698-0932.
