Higher Property Tax Bills Coming; Also a 7-Cent Rate Cut

Property tax assessments for Fairfax County homeowners have been mailed out and for a sixth straight year most tax bills will go up. That is despite a 7-cent cut in the tax rate proposed in the budget presented by the County Executive at yesterday's Board of Supervisors meeting.
