Moran Proposes Admission Fee For Smithsonian

Rep. James P. Moran (D-Va.) has proposed charging a $1 admission fee to the museums that make up the Smithsonian Institution to help offset the cost of much-needed repairs. Is giving up the Smithsonian's official free-to-all status worth it?
