Fairfax Chamber Proposes Full-Time Board of Supervisors
The chamber of commerce's proposal opens a debate about which would serve the citizens of Fairfax better--a full time Board of Supervisors whose members would not hold outside jobs or the current model.
Rep. Thomas M. Davis III (R-Va.) thinks the county should go further and have an elected, rather than appointed, county executive who would be directly accountable to voters.
