Why Make A 77-Mile Daily Commute?
Read a front page story in today's Washington Post that follows a group of workers including carpenters and electricians who carpool daily from Luray, 77 miles to the west to work at George Mason University. The workers are long-time residents of small communities who find their livelihood in the Washington area.
