Reston Transit Station To Open

A new Reston Town Center transit station is set to open Sunday.

The Fairfax Connector will offer bus service from the station, which is on Bluemont Way across from Library Street at the southern edge of the town center.

Routes that will stop at the station include numbers 504, 505, 556, 574, 605 and 950 along with Reston Internal Bus System (RIBS) routes 1, 2 and 3. Several routes will be changed, and many will adjust the number of trips. Tickets, schedules, maps and fare information will be available at the transit center in a few weeks, officials said.
