Huntington Area Hit Hard by Flooding

Rising water and raw sewage has damaged more than half the 311 homes in the Huntington area of Fairfax County and will keep residents displaced until repairs can be made. Today's Metro section gives a glimpse of what the past few days have been like for the Grimes family and the uphill climb they face. Rodney Grimes and his family, who lived on Fenwick Drive, spent yesterday morning picking through what remained of their salvageable belongings.
