Victim Identified, Homicide Investigation Continues Detectives have identified the body found in the trunk of the car. An autopsy was conducted and results determined that the dismembered remains were those of 64-year-old Dail Brown. Cause of death was due to traumatic injuries. The victim's son 35-year-old Dail Brown Jr. is a person of interest in this murder investigation and detectives are still seeking his location. The silver Ford Escape with Virginia license plate YCT 4771 is also still missing Anyone who might have information regarding the location of Dail Brown Jr.or the vehicle is as asked to call Fairfax Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS/8477 or Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131. Human Remains Discovered at Home On Thursday, September 28 at about 5:15 p.m., human remains were discovered inside the trunk of a car at the home on Carrhill Road. The remains have not been positively identified at this time. Police continue to search for the missing 2002 silver Ford Escape. Men Missing Under Suspicious Circumstances Police are concerned for the safety of two men who are missing from the 2100 block of Carrhill Road in the Vienna area. On Wednesday, September 27 at about 2 p.m., a 64-year-old Vienna-area woman returned home to discover both her husband and son missing. Large amounts of blood and signs of a struggle were located inside of the home. Detectives now suspect foul play in the disappearance of the men. Police are currently looking for 64-year-old Dail Brown and 35-year-old Dail Brown Jr. Detectives are also attempting to locate the family vehicle, described as a 2002 silver Ford Escape with Virginia license plates YCT-4771. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the missing men or the missing vehicle is asked to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS/8477 or Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
