Is Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Gerald E. Connolly planning to follow in the footsteps of former board Chairman Thomas M. Davis III (R) and run for a congressional seat? This Fairfax Extra article looks at the evidence so far that Connolly is laying the ground work for a run to succeed Davis as the 11th District representative should Davis pursue a spot in the U.S. Senate.
