UPDATE 12/1: In Reston, Don't Ask. The Bell Doesn't Toll

Leaders at Saint John Neumann church in Reston are awaiting a decision from county officials on when, if ever, they can resume ringing the church bells. The county ordered the bells silenced in December 2004 after neighbors' complaints; the bells violated the county's noise ordinance. The story is in today's Metro section.
