Providence Primary: a Hint of Connolly's Future?

According to this article from today's Metro section, the primary election for the Democratic candidate for the Providence District Supervisor's seat between incumbent Linda Q. Smyth and challenger Charles W. Hall could foreshadow how things will play out for Board of Supervisors Chairman Gerald E. Connolly who has guided Smyth throughout her political career.
