Davis Says He's in No Rush To Declare For Senate

Rep. Thomas M. Davis III (R-Va.) is signaling his intention to run for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Sen John W. Warner (R), but is in no hurry to make an official announcement according to this article from Saturday's Metro section.

One reason for Davis' reticence to start ramping a Senate push, according to another story in today's Metro section is his reluctance to distract himself and others from the reelection campaign of his wife, state Sen. Jeannemarie Devolites Davis (R-Fairfax).
