Kingstowne Developer Contributed $35,000 To Lee District Candidate

According to this article from Saturday's Metro section, Jeff C. McKay, the Democratic candidate for Lee District supervisor, has received $35,000 in contributions from a developer who is seeking changes in his agreement with the county which would allow the construction of four office buildings in Kingstowne.

McKay said the contributions have not influenced on his decision to support the developers proposal which is supported by the Lee District's Land Use Advisory Committee. McKay said had the ommittee not supported the proposal he also would have opposed it.
