Connolly's Job Complicates Congressional Race

According to this article from today's Metro section, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Gerald E. Connolly's bid for a seat in Congress is complicated by his employment by Science Applications International Corp., a defense and intelligence contractor, since Connolly (D) is running on an antiwar platform. According to some, the problem illustrates a problem with the politics of war in Fairfax, the home of many of the governement contractors that feed our economy, but where most voters oppose the war.
