County Critical of Distribution of Transportation Dollars

According to this article from today's Fairfax Extra, transportation projects in Fairfax County have received only 3.6 percent of the money granted to Virginia under a federal program despite having 14 percent of the population, a situation that Board of Supervisors Chairman Gerald E. Connolly calls, "inconceivable". The board plans to write a later of complaint to the Commonwealth Transportation Board.
