UPDATE 6/18 Trooper Testifies in Koger Shooting Charges
The latest on this story was detailed in this morning's Metro section: a state trooper testified in court yesterday that police later identified as Jeffrey Koger pointed a shotgun at him during the the February incident.

Fairfax County police have released information that the suspect in the shootings near the Springfield Mall on Saturday was Jeffrey Koger of Koger Management. Koger has been charged with attempted capital murder of a police officer. More updates to follow.

Police are investigating whether an employee of Koger Management Group Inc. embezzled the money he was hired to manage. Koger represents more than 300 homeowners associations with 70,000 members including the Pinewood Meadows Condominiums in Chantilly which is missing an estimated $100,000.
