Up Next, Macworld

SAN FRANCISCO--There's only a day to go before Steve Jobs opens Macworld Expo with his usual keynote, and hotels are starting to fill with exhibitors and attendees. The iPod ads on the street now feature a Macworld banner at the bottom. And the Mac rumor sites are engaged in their usual game of guessing what, exactly, Steve Jobs will announce on stage at the Moscone Center here (along with guessing what key words and phrases he'll speak during the keynote).
The leading candidates so far include an ultralight Mac laptop and iTunes movie rentals--but with Macworld keynotes, you never know for sure. The only hint to surface over the weekend is a set of cryptic banners reading "There's something in the air" spotted inside Moscone.
I won't be spending much time on Apple rumors today--I'm visiting Google's headquarters for the day--but if you use a Mac or think you might, it's a fun topic to ponder. Which of these rumors do you want to see come true?
