PostPoints tip: Read me online for more details
Far be it from me to discourage people from subscribing to the print edition of The Post--I do so myself--but if you've read a story of mine and are curious about some of the details discussed in it, have a look at its online version on our site. Since March, I've been including Web-only links in both my Fast Forward and Help File columns that link to background information, source material, older stories I've done and pieces in competing publications. You may find that these links answer questions you had about the story... or you may find that their content leads you to disagree with me. (Tip to my fellow journalists: You should be doing this too. If nothing else, linking to source material forces you to find evidence backing up your copy instead of just assuming "Oh, I've covered this before--I know this is true.") Not sure where to find a Web copy of a story I've done? You can browse a list of recent articles and search for older ones at washingtonpost.com/robpegoraro.
