iPad shipping time estimates climb

By Hayley Tsukayama

Early this morning, the estimates on shipping for the iPad 2 were for about three to five days. But as of 8:45 a.m., Eastern Time, when the iPad 2 had been on sale for about four hours, the shipping estimates were up to two to three weeks.

The longer estimates are up for all models and colors of the iPad 2. So unless you've already ordered or are willing to wait in line at a store tonight, it could be a good long while until you get your hands on Apple's latest device.
