Where the 'Hard to Counts' Live

By Ed O'Keefe

Following up on reports earlier this week about the Census Bureau's multimillion dollar effort to encourage participation in next year's census and improve its chances of measuring "hard-to-count" populations, consider the data below (sent to The Eye by loyal readers at The Census Project).

The Census Bureau generally defines "hard-to-count" groups as mostly ethnic minorities in economically depressed areas. As the charts below demonstrate, that means counties in some of the largest metropolitan areas and some of the most remote, rural areas.

The data below displays the ten counties with the highest number of hard-to-count people and the ten counties with the highest percentage of hard-to-count people -- two very different measures that cover very different sections of the country. It's adapted from larger charts that show the top 50 counties (see links below).

How many of you understand the meaning of "illegal" and understand how destructive illegal immigration is on so many levels and how unfair it is to all the wonderful immigrants who do it right.

However, we are going to lose this one. The Democrats now in charge are determined to give illegals amnesty and voting rights. That's right, criminal aliens will soon cancel out all your votes. The Dems also want them to be able to bring their families in. Soon 20-30 million illegals will be voting. Any guess for which party? Democrats put building an impenetrable Democratic voting block ahead of the good of this country.

Meantime, with millions of Americans without jobs no Liberal Democrat will address the 500 pound gorilla in the room, millions of invading Illegal Aliens taking millions of jobs that should be American jobs and 100,s billions of dollars in social services that should be for American citizens!

One cannot be political correct and admit that Illegal Aliens are an large part of the problems in this Nation.

Their negative impact extends to every area from Sub-par loans & defaults, Underground economy, Lower standard of living, Crime, Overflowing prisons , Bankrupted hospitals, Failing schools, Property Taxes, Insurance costs, Environment, Culture, Welfare costs, Welfare fraud, SS fraud, Voter fraud, Disrespect for laws, our Constitution against invasion and even Balance of payments occurring from oil and other imports to support the 20 to 30 million illegal aliens in this country!

One has to only look at Calif. which is basically mostly an Spanish speaking, Bankrupt state that cannot afford to provide Welfare, Schooling, Medical, Prison cells etc. for millions of MS-13 Gang bangers, Drug dealers, Rapist and other assorted Criminals and uneducated, fast breeding, third world rejects from Mexico!

In a very few years it will be impossible to see where Mexico ends and Calif. begins as both will be an third world cesspool!

Failure to secure our borders and reward the Invading horde for their invasion and their relatives in an never ending chain with American Citizenship is nothing less than committing National Suicide & will assure our future is an over populated Spanish speaking third world Nation that is an Cesspool of Corruption, Crime, Poverty and Misery modeled on Mexico!

Ignorant comments. Think about yourself as illegal immigrants. What kind of benefits are you qualifying for? Food stamps? Unemployment benefit? Almost none! That is right. None. In fact, many illegals are paying payroll tax which they may never get back. The bottom line is that the illegals are not draining the social welfare system at all. We should not ignore however the disproportionate impact of immigration on selected areas such as Los Angeles and New York. But immigrants may help revitalize the downbeat housing market if they move to the hinterland areas.

Illegal immigrants aren't engaged in the theft of social services? Illegal immigrants that are paying ANY payroll tax at all (and the percentages are low) are taking max deductions and qualifying for the income tax credit so tax collections from them are esentially nil. The majority of them work off the books and contribute nothing. "Illegals are not draining the social welfare system at all." can't be serious! Are you kiddin' me?

In the last 22 years, since the 1986, Reagan, one-time amnesty, over 26 million illegals have been apprehended, after they crossed the border into our United States.

However, less than 1, out of 4, illegals, crossing into our United States, are estimated to have been apprehended.

According to the U.S. Immigration Service another 6 million illegals in our country are visa overstays.

Lack of E-verify in the Stimulus Bill only entices even more illegals to enter our country!!

Rather than 12 million illegals in our United States, the number is more like 40 million illegals.

With ACORN playing a major role in the census, we can't expect anything close to accurate, especially if they get paid by the number of names they submit.

If this doesn't open your eyes nothing will !

From the L. A. Times
1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2
million people)are working for cash and not paying taxes. This
is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working
without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal
3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are
illegal aliens.
4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal
alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal , whose births were paid for by
5. Nearly 35% of all inm ates in California detention centers are
Mexican nationals here illegally
6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living
in garages.
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal
most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
9. 21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking.
10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9
million speak Spanish.
There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County

All 10 of the above are from the Los Angeles Times
Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29%
are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ' annual
population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and
New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal
prisons are illegal aliens.

We are a bunch of fools for letting this continue

This is only one State...............
