Homeland Security Janet Napolitano appeared on Monday's "Daily Show" to discuss H1N1 flu preparations, and admitted her most difficult task is keeping in touch with the 23 agencies that comprise her big department.

"The fact that we're 23 different departments that were merged into one, but we're still located in 23 different places around the District of Columbia, logistically that's very difficult," she told host Jon Stewart.

So how do they all meet?

"We do it by meetings, we do it by video teleconference, we do it by telephone," she said. She would not pick a "best agency" when asked by Stewart, but named the Coast Guard, Secret Service, FEMA, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection and TSA when asked to name a few.

"Who's got E-Z Pass?" Stewart joked.

In the second half of the interview, Stewart and Napolitano had a more serious discussion about H1N1 flu preparations and the vaccine.

"There's going to be enough vaccine for everybody," she said.

Incidentally, Napolitano's personal life was also the topic of another cable show a few hours earlier Monday night.
