Shouldn't Presidents Day be amended to remove Bush?

Ed, what's taking so long on the OPM status update. Their website status update with 2 Hour Late Arrival / Unscheduled Leave was posted on opm.gov 20 minutes ago. So much for you being more reliable than OPM.

Hey schmutwe -- Sorry, but sometimes (sadly rarely these days) family trumps work.

My editors got the news up a few moments later than normal as I took Mrs. Eye to her evening class. It's up now. Thanks for continuing to rely on my blog for the news. Tell your friends and neighbors, as they say!

Just for the record, the official title for the holiday for federal employees is Washington's Birthday. This is how it is listed in 5 USC 6103.
