Federal Government Open on Monday

By Ed O'Keefe

Despite some school closings in region, Washington-area federal offices will open on Monday on their normal operating schedule.

The Office of Personnel Management made the call Sunday night after a snowy weekend that dumped between from 4 to 8 inches in most neighborhoods.

The federal government has not yet had a weather delay or closing this calendar year.
