Sources: Rahm hires OMB official as senior adviser
By The Post's Al Kamen and Philip Rucker in our 44 blog:
White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has hired a top budget official to be his senior adviser, setting off a round of musical chairs in the Obama administration.
Robert Nabors, deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget, is moving to the West Wing to become senior adviser to Emanuel, according to sources with knowledge of the move, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of personnel moves. Nabors will focus on appropriations, budget issues and other matters.
Nabors, the No. 2 budget official under OMB director Peter Orszag, is a former Clinton Administration official who and spent several years as a senior appropriations staffer on Capitol Hill.
