The Federal Eye breaks, briefly

Your trusty blogger is taking a nine-day vacation to recharge the batteries (or rest his Eyes?) before a busy fall begins. He'll retrain his sights on the federal government starting Sept. 13.

Colleague Lisa Rein will reprise her role as the Third Eye, with contributions from other colleagues across the newsroom.
