Printing Office book blog takes honors

By Lisa Rein
The new-media blog of the old-media Government Printing Office, "Government Book Talk," has received an award for the second year running.
The Washington, D.C., chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators gave the blog its Silver Inkwell communications award this month.
Book Talk, written by GPO staff, tries to bring attention to the arcane world of federal publications with reviews, discussions and updates. The agency revamped its bookstore across from Union Station this fall, adding hundreds of titles in a similar effort to stimulate sales.
