Senate defeats measure that would have denied TSA workers collective bargaining rights

The Senate on Tuesday rejected an amendment that would have blocked Transportation Security Administration employees from having collective bargaining rights, handing a victory to Democrats and labor groups.

TSA union vote tentatively set for March/April

Transportation Security officers will have to wait a little longer to find out when they will vote on which union to represent them, though a tentative date has been set.
