You cannot live up to everyone's expectations. However, since the world is giving you a new start, a new chance, take advantage to not soil our reputation as the previous Presidents had. Do the best job you can...

Sir, what is your plan for the Border Patrol officers railroaded into prison.. One was just beaten by a gang of illegal alien prisoners. They will die in prison after putting their lives on the line for us.

What is your plan for the Federal deficit that has made our money worth less than many Bannana republics?

What do you propose for the crumbling roads and collapsing bridges across the entire country?

When are you going to order the dredging of the impassable ICW?

Are you going to order the reconstruction of light rail between cities - and recapture abandoned rail bed?

Dear President-Elect Obama:

First and foremost, I like to congratulate you on such an unprecedented and historic achievement in becoming the first Black American President of the United States. The barriers of indigenous racial divisiveness have finally been knocked down. I would be remiss if I didn't convey to you what a privilege and honor it is for me, to be a part of such a momentous and indelible part of history as I never thought I would experience such a glorious occasion in my lifetime. You have now solidified the idea that anything is possible if you believe.

Our children’s dreams of becoming ANYTHING they want to be has now become a reality. You have a daunting and absolutely laborious challenge ahead of you; however, there is no doubt in my mind that you will assimilate to your responsibilities and acclimate to your position as President very quickly. I am not expecting you to change the world in one term and you haven't deluded the American people into believing you will - but I know you will work diligently and superfluously in your efforts of producing change. Thank you, Mr. President; I look forward to calling you that again in your second term.

Mr. Obama, I didn't vote for you. I don't think you're qualified, you artfully avoided providing any specifics about your plans during the campaign, and I question some of your past associations. I will encourage the main stream press and the loyal opposition in Congress to keep a microscope on you and your Administration's activities. And, I will keep saying to myself that your time in the White House, too, shall pass.

Good luck Mr. President. You are surely going to need it. I will be watching as your love affair with the nation and the media goes south. I wager that inside of six months your popularity will decline, the national economy will continue to slide and our enemies will feel emboldened and will attack us. Just remember that 56,000,000 people did not vote for you and will be there to pick up the smoldering ruin when you exit. Love you and thinking of you

Hi sir, it's me. I hope you've already got the new "Taxation Without Representation" license plates ordered for the limo, I hear DC DMV is a drag.

Maybe in addition to helping veterans and service members, your wife could lend an ear to education and the importance of the family in education? Getting the family involved in education might also help crime.

And you should definitely pick the puppy out of a shelter. Like maybe a golden retriever rescue. You were, after all,m elected during national shelter week.

Ok, I think I've hit all the things I wanted to tell you. And pick up milk on the way home.

Nevermind -- that last was a note for my husband.

However all of these flowers no matter there color, shape or form will be everlasting in this great Nation and we hope you will continue to nourish all of these different flowers in your administration and they will survive for eternity in this country's vase of life. the test of any relationship is to disagree, while holding each other’s hands and this Nation will survive. First, congratulations, Mr. President-elect! You have been chosen for the hardest possible job. A job others simply don't won't and a job some will never have. Your election is historic and triumphant. We cannot emphasize that enough. However, problems exist and are compounding everyday.

1. You have inherited a strong executive office. One that oversees two foreign wars, military bases at home and abroad, a faltering economy, and, not to mention, a bloated bureaucracy. It should be your job to shrink the office as soon as possible. Otherwise, the problems we face now may continue and new ones may arise -- lack of liberty, more wars, etc.

2. You should use the opportunity of your election to better relations with our allies and adversaries. Because you are seen as transformational figure for the United States, this could afford you the political capital to strengthen our relations abroad. It is time the name of the United States no longer be the punchline of a joke.

3. End both wars. Yes, both of them. You have stated you would act against Pakistan--preemptively--if a threat there emerged. In order you don't do that, get the United States out of Central Asia and Iraq. This would save the United States people monetary treasure as well as human treasure.

4. You should use your positive personality to help end the war on drugs. As a person who lives in a large city, you well know the flaws of the drug war. It disproportionally affects minority and low-income communities and it infringes upon everyone's rights--even the world's. Stop being a hyporcite. You yourself have used drugs. Do you want to continue punishing people who do the same things you've done?

These four things are well within your capability of doing. After all, you have inherited an inordinate amount of executive power. So, instead of using that power positively, id est, to increase government power. Use your newly inherited powers negatively--to subtract from government power.

Your work is cut out for you, sir. But it is well within your grasp to take care of the challenges facing America now and in the future.

Again, contratulations, Mr. Obama.

Mr Obama,
Until the results of the election was given, I was VERY SUPPORTIVE of Senator McCain's bid to become our next POTUS. Since your election, I have changed my stance on a few issues.

Our country was founded on the principal that ALL men are created equal, and that ANYONE could assend to become the next POTUS. America, thanks to Bush 43, needs lots of help, to bring itself out of the resession we currently find ourselves in, not only that, we need to win back the respect of all the nations on Earth, to bring about peace & harmony.

I wish you success in your future in Washington. Remember to stand to the right, walk to the left when riding METRO escalators. Bob Ryan (NBC4) gives the best weather forecasts. You may root for Da Bears, but this is REDSKINS country.

In closing, I wish other Americans would also CHANGE their beliefs & support you, as we CHANGE America. You have my support.

Good politician. So were Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton. Let's see what kind of statesman you make. Even a governor has much more experience to be President than a one-term senator (even a governor of the tiny state of Arkansas) who has never held a real job. You're smart, yes, you're even cocky but let's see if you truly represent all Americans - even those champions of business who you mock.

By the way, I don't consider Warren Buffet a businessman, just another lucky person who also has never held a real job, but is most certainly running out of his investor luck. Let's all wish you the best of luck, especially since you're lucky the economic downturn started now and will, by no help of government, be coming out of it in 2011.

Mr. President Elect:

Your accession to the highest office can be summarized in two words "Divine Intervention". Everyone please read 1 Samuel - Chapter 16. GOD promised to appoint a king to deliver the land and he is fulfilling that promise. May GOD continue to guide your footsteps. Love to your family also.
