Making Nice

Shortly before President Obama gave his Cairo address yesterday, Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that "beautiful speeches" wouldn't mollify the hatred felt in the Muslim world toward America.

Without meaning to make light of the subject or over generalize, why should I care about the opinions of folks who seem to hate everyone for something. They're blowing each other up-- what could we possibly do to make this group happy?

Let's see.
We've gone to war in Bosnia, Kosovo, Sudan, Afghanistan and Iraq and given emergency aid to Indonesia. We're about to give near a BILLION dollars to Gaza, already give plenty of aid to Egypt and Lebanon.
What more can we do?
Oh, yes. Apologise?

Wherever there are Muslims, there is turmoil, intolerence, destruction, hatred, and death. If they are to be dealt with and eliminated as a threat to the civilized world the time is now because the birth rate in the Muslim world is such that they will be in control of much of the world inside of the next 50 to 70 years unless the dwindling birth rate in so many other countries is reversed. In some countries it's probably already too late to preserve the indigenous civilization (Germany comes to mind, and the Netherlands, and probably Italy too) because of their odd indifference to breeding.

Seriously?!? wow, since there is a small radical minority of muslims then I guess that means ALL muslims are terrorists. Ridiculous...There are millions of Muslims in America, there is no turmoil, destruction or death here and the intolerance and hatred seems to come from those making comments here.
Realist 2: Are you freaking serious? Way to set back the human race about 70 years with your comment.

Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is correct. His muslim world hates us. They hate everyone. Any forign aid to this area of the world should be in megatons, not dollars and delivered from 30,000 feet.
