Vindication?

D.C. Council member Marion Barry said yesterday that police "caused great pain" by arresting him on a stalking charge that was later dropped.

Incompetent. Tax evasion. Drug user. Race baiter. Hypocrite. What's left to defend about this fallen man?

I think Barry has never understood the meaning of the word 'public' - as in public life or public service. His public service was 50 -50. 50 for the public and 50 for him. After all of these years, he still seems amazed that the private things that he does - wind up in the public.
