The electronic warning signs helped on this one. I saw the warning getting off the 11th Street Bridge and detoured via Independence Avenue and the Memorial Bridge. Hit 395 via 27 at 6:00 (OK, I fess, 5:59) and had a straight shot past the incident, which was blocking all lanes at the time.
I love WTOP (especially Lisa Baden), but the electronic sign saved my hiney tonight. Much appreciated, folks!
