Delays on Outer Loop After Van Dorn Street

Delays begin on the outer loop of the Capital Beltway for drivers going northbound after Van Dorn Street because of a serious accident that happened around 3 a.m.

While lanes are opening, commuters should still expect delays for the next hour.

The incident is no longer causing backups and traffic is back to its usual pattern, according to WTOP.
