Financial Summit to Affect Travel This Week
The international summit on the world's financial crisis will take place at the National Building Museum in downtown Washington on Saturday. That will affect the nearby streets and the subway.
Here's what to watch out for.
Parking Restrictions
Today through 7 p.m. Thursday: 4th Street NW between F Street and G Street NW on the east side.
8 p.m. Thursday through 7 p.m. Saturday:

-- 5th Street NW between F Street and G Street NW
-- F Street NW between 4 th Street and 5 th Street NW
-- G Street NW between 4 th Street and 5 th Street NW
2:30 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Saturday: 4th Street from D Street to F Street NW on the east side
10 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Saturday:
-- Indiana Avenue NW from 6th Street to D Street NW
-- 6th Street NW from Pennsylvania Avenue to Indiana Avenue NW
-- 5th Street NW from Indiana Avenue to H Street NW
-- H Street NW from 6th Street to 3rd Street NW on the south side

Metrorail
On Friday, the F Street entrance at Judiciary Square Station will close at 7 p.m. Use the entrance at 4th and D streets.
On Saturday, Judiciary Square Station will be closed until 8 p.m. Trains will travel through the station, but they won't stop. The Gallery Place Station is just a few blocks away. Use the exit at 7th and F streets.
Remember that transit police may conduct random searches of your bags before you enter the fare gates. You have the right to refuse a search to protect your privacy, but the police won't let you enter the subway with the bags.

The Capitals play the Devils on Friday night, so if you use Judiciary Square after games, you'll need to walk to the other entrance or use Gallery Place or Metro Center.
