Alexandria Main Break Fixed, Delays Continue
Two of the of three southbound lanes on Richmond Highway at Collard St. in Alexandria south of the Beltway are still closed following a water main break.
The break has been fixed, but the asphalt has not been repaired, causing delays. Backups on Richmond Highway may reach 1 mile in length, according to the Virginia State Police.
