Bus Problems
Scattered busing problems are being sent in by post reporters and readers this morning.
Post reporter Josh White, stationed at Lee Highway and North Monroe Street in Arlington, reported a long wait for a bus, but eventually snared a different one than expected -- one headed all the way to McPherson Square. Post reporter Meg Smith says that her S4 bus filled up halfway to downtown and skipped its remaining stops.
Twitterers are reporting that many buses headed for the inauguration are standing-room-only, including those on 14th Street and the N4 bus near AU.
One reader reported via e-mail that they had waited for a bus in Shirlington for more than an hour and a half, while another sent in via text message that they hadn't seen their expected bus at Landmark Mall for three hours. However, most reports on Twitter seem pleased with service so far.
