Federal Triangle Station Closed
Metro has shut down the Federal Triangle station, between the parade route and the Mall on the Blue and Orange lines, until the parade ends at about 6:30 p.m.
Local police requested the closure because of crowding, according to Metro. Federal Triangle was not one of the stations originally closed this morning.
To access the blue or orange lines from the mall, inauguration-goers should go south to the L'Enfant, Federal Center or Capitol South stations.
