Traffic/Transit Alert: Connecticut Avenue Reopened
Connecticut Avenue has reopened following a morning rush-hour closure between Porter Street and Cathedral Avenue for a police investigation, the District Department of Transportation said. (See story.)
Cleveland Park Metro station also has reopened. The Red Line station was closed for about an hour and a half this morning while police investigated a suspicious vehicle on Connecticut Avenue. The incident, which is what closed the avenue, began at 6:04 a.m. The station reopened at 7:39 a.m., Metro said.
