Regular Metro riders and would-be visitors who are planning to park at Metrorail parking lots and ride the subway to inaugural events on Tuesday should be prepared to get to those parking lots early. Parking lots will be open at 3:30 a.m. and the trains will start running at 4 a.m. There are nearly 60,000 spaces, but the lots are expected to fill up by 5:30 to 6 a.m., according to Metro General Manager John B. Catoe Jr.

I've been trying to figure this out: I can get to Metrorail early. But what do I do once I get downtown?
