Your Inauguration Lifeline

The inauguration promises to be a transportation ... um, what's the word? ... oh, nightmare. It's going to be a nightmare. Better your odds at surviving the festivities unscathed by getting live updates from Dr. Gridlock and the Post transportation team. We will be pounding the pavement to get you the latest on closures, traffic jams, escape routes and more leading up to, during, and after the swearing-in.

Here are some options:

Follow the Dr. Gridlock Twitter feed, which displays all transportation news and updates from the Post and Get There. (What's Twitter?)

Follow all transportation news and updates, including Get There, via RSS. (What's RSS?)

Follow just Get There via RSS.

Get inauguration-related text alerts on your phone. Just text "INAUG" to WPOST (97678).

And, of course, you can always follow us right here and at Inauguration Central.
